The hottest day ever recorded in San Francisco on October 25th was 86 degrees, but Saturday's protest held up in a windless 90 degree blaze. Thousands massed in front of the city hall to hear reminders of how much money the U.S. Government is draining from the future of its citizens to pay for conquest of the Middle East.

People came to let the world and President Bush know they oppose U.S. aggression, an end to the waste and destruction of other countries and our own. They want the troops home now.

People are sick of the lies used by the U.S. Administration to frighten the public into accepting war.
