MaryAnn talks about protests at the Marine Recruiting Station in Berkeley, California, and how the police have made peaceful protest unsafe.

What are young people being recruited and trained for? To commit war crimes, MaryAnn explains. She intends to keep up the protests with others who feel the war on Iraq and Afghanistan must stop.

Julie interviews Daniel Lavelle, a Reality Tour coordinator for Latin America at Global Exchange. Daniel describes a first-hand look at what is going on in Venezuela..

Daniel helps people travel to Venezuela to see for themselves what is going on, aside from the polemics of politics and the narrow views of U.S. media. In seeing what's happening there, he hopes that activists can apply here at home the lessons of social responsibility, practiced in local cooperatives and social missions in Venezuela.

The show ends with music performed by the Young People's Orchestra of Venezuela during a 2007 BBC concert in London.
